• Chattering and long-term squealing
• Blade edge doesn't "flip"

• Rounded (not square) blade edge
• Torn or ragged blade edge
• Permanent "set" in the blade curve
• Hardened rubber from exposure to sun, and salt plus road splash
  carrying stray
• Airborne Automotive chemicals
