Seeing Safely
If you can’t see clearly,
you can’t drive safely
More than 90% of your driving is based on visual cues. That makes good visibility through the windshield in all kinds of weather essential. Your wiper blades need to be in top condition to keep the windshield free of road splash, sleet, ice and snow.
Watch for these signs of wiper blade wear and age
- Streaking and smearing
- Chattering and long-term squealing
- Blade edge doesn't "flip"
with each wipe - Rounded (not square) blade edge
- Torn or ragged blade edge
- Permanent "set" in the blade curve
- Hardened rubber from exposure to sun, and salt plus road splash
carrying stray - Airborne Automotive chemicals
One or more of these signs may compromise our ability to see clearly, especially in severe weather conditions. The solution? Make a habit of replacing your blades with high-quality Michelin wiper blades every six months. That way, you’ll be prepared for safe, confident driving in any weather.
